Sunday Casual Ride EARLIER START 9.00 am

Distance is typically 25 to 30 miles at an average speed of 11-14 mph which for most people is a very relaxed…...you might even say even a Casual pace !

Our objective is to provide an enjoyable ride to meet the needs of as many of those riding. So speeds will be faster or slower, This is mainly determined by who is riding that particular day eg current club members or new guest riders

If necessary we will regroup if a gap opens up eg at the top of a hill. We have never left any rider behind as it the responsibility of the Ride Leader is to ensure everyone returns home safely.

Identifying new Sunday Casual routes after all these years is a real challenge. Nonetheless on a recent Sunday Club ride

I ventured onto somelanes round Lowsonford that were new to me, rural  and interesting… lets hope they will also be for a few of you!

 Route is Wellesbourne, Sherbourne, Norton Lindsay, Pinley Green, Lowsonford, Preston Bagot, Wooten Women Refreshments at Yew Tree Cafe

( 19miles) , Little Alne, Bearlay , Snitterfield      33 miles , 1050 ft ascent ie undulating but flattish course

 Please note 

A Start time brought forward to 9.00am as course is couple miles longer,and possible rain by lunchtime

 B The route round Lowsonford has several twists and turns. So If you do cycle ahead of the group thats up to you

… just make sure you take a map as you may find yourself alone ie nothing will delay our progress towards the cafe stop
