Sunday Club Ride

Sunday Club rides are between 40 and 55 miles long and ridden at an average speed between 14 and 16 mph. Rides start from the Old Ettington Road at 9am unless otherwise specified.

This week's route is approx. 54 miles largely based on one devised by Simon Owen-Smith for a Thursday Hastings ride. We were due to do this when I was a Sunday Club ride leader in November 2019, but floods caused the ride to be cancelled, so hopefully that won’t be the case this time!

Wellesbourne to Charlecote, Hampton Lucy, Hatton Rock, Snitterfield, Norton Lindsey, Little Shrewley, Shrewley, Mousley End, Chadwick End, Temple Balsall, Barston, Eastcote, Hampton-in-Arden, Meriden, Berkswell, Burton Green, Kenilworth, Hatton, Hampton-on-the-Hill, Sherborne, Hampton Lucy, Charlecote to Wellesbourne.

Café stop at Lavender Hall Fisheries, Berkswell, CV7 7BN (note drive down to café/restaurant building is a bit rough and stony, at least it was last time I was there!)
