The ride is a figure of 8, that will take lunch at the Boars Head, Hampton Lucy, where sandwiches and the obligatory chips (for Gary!) will be taken - cost is £7.50 per head. The ride out will be around 27 miles. The chips and sandwiches will be burnt off with a 25 mile afternoon stint.
The morning will convene at our usual meeting place, and head out towards Norton Lindsay, across to Aston Cantlow. Here we will turn and head for home, via Wilmcote, Gospel Oak Lane, Ingon Lane and then intonations Hampton Lucy via Hatton Rock. Around 1200’ of gently rolling hillocks to work up an appetite.
The afternoon will consist of another gently undulating route, heading out towards Pillerton Priors, but with a little twist from the normal route, and then onto Halford via Fulready, heading towards Armscote and then Crimscote where again we will turn for home via Alderminster and Loxley. Around 900’ of climbing will be there for the taking.
Hopefully the weather will be on our side.
That should keep people happy. Lunch is booked for provisionally 15, but I will then confirm exact numbers after we meet up at 10:30.
