Mountford Ride

SUE BACON has kindly stepped in to lead this ride which was the only one that didn't have a ride leader from the plan drawn up by Wendy to cover her absence.

Leaving from The Stag, we head out on the Loxley road before turning right to go past the airfield and head for Hampton Lucy via Charlecote. It's then out of Hampton Lucy via the Boar's Head (not a stop!) Before turning right about a mile later on the little lane that comes out (turn left) about 400 yards from Wyevale Garden Centre (yes, a stop!). After a coffee, we head back towards Hampton Lucy on the other approach road, but go left on the scenic road to Sherborne. From here we head into Barford and take the Crematorium road. A right turn sees us back on the road to Wellesbourne via Newbold Pacey and we will have travelled about 20 miles as we finish the ride.
