Somethig a bit different this week - 10 mile individual time trial.
Here's part of Steve's WhatsApp message:
As you may know if you read the Wheelers Digest, Gary has resurrected the WW time trial course; 10 miles starting and finishing on the Loxley Road by the Hunscote turn (Loxley end of Loxley Lane that goes round the airfield) and going through Tiddington and Loxley. To add a bit of competition how about a little TT event?
We would start at 9.00am and go off at 30s or 1 min intervals. I'd act as starter and timekeeper but you would also keep your time on your bike computer so we have a verifiable record after the morning. After we've all finished and recovered we could head to the Touchdown Café for a second breakfast and then maybe a short recovery ride afterwards depending on the weather?
Traffic at that time on a Sunday morning is pretty light so the route would be as safe as it's ever going to be. And it would make a change from our usual long ride.
