Sunday Casual Eggstravaganza Ride

All our Casual rides start from The Stag in Wellesbourne. Our aim is to provide a pleasant, social ride including a coffee stop, ride normally finishes between 12 and 1 pm

Routes are usually posted here a few days before each ride(see below) and distances vary from 20 to 35 miles. Average speed is 11 to 13mph but our objective is never to leave anyone behind. So speeds may be slower or faster depending on who is riding that day

Bearley to Aston Cantlow

Aston Cantlow to Billesley and on to Binton cross roads

Onto Temple Grafton and onto Arden’s Graften

Arden’s Graften to Bidford

Coffee at one of the riverside pubs in Bidford at around 22 miles as no cafes on route open due to Easter Sunday

Over Bidford River bridge to Barton

Turn to Dorsington  and onto Pebworth

Pebworth to Long Marston

Long Marston to Lower Quinton

Lower Quinton to Preston on Stour onto Alderminster

Alderminster to home via Goldicote and Loxley

Distance is 42 miles and terrain is undulating and not too hilly
