Sunday Casual Ride ( Majorca)

Our normal Sunday Casual group ride on will be slightly different today.In addition to our usual WWCC Casual riders we are also inviting thosegoing on the Majorca cycle trip for the first time.

As some of you may know, our friends at Shipston Cycling Club will be leading several Majorca rides. So 15^th April will be a chance for you to meet Tony and Val from Shipston, and for them to meet you. This will enable you to join a mixed WWCC /Shipston ride confident that the pace and distance will suit you.

 The issues we may face are that we would not know who is going to Majorca, who is on a normal Sunday Casual ride, and then what speed to go ?So as Baldrick would say we have a cunning plan based on two ride leaders , Andy Skyte and Mick Burvill, and whether you wear club kit on the day.  So

> Everyone meets as usual at 9.30 at The Stag in Wellesbourne (Majorca bound or not)

> Andy assesses how many are in each group ie Majorca riders, Sunday Casual riders, or anyone newwho turns up on the day to try a ride with WWCC?

>Depending on the numbers we will either ride as one group led by Andy or split into two different paced groups led by Andy & Mick, but both will do the same route and have the same coffee stop

> Majorca bound group are asked to wear any part of their normal club kit, so Shipston riders can recognize them, and vice versa

> If you are not going to Majorca please wear anything other than usual club kit (but please keep within the bounds of decency!!)

Today's route is an undulating 34 miles leaving Wellesbourne and going out through H. Lucy, Snitterfield, Wilmcote, Shottery (tea & cakes), C. Chambers, L. Marston, L. Quinton, Crimscote, Alderminster, Loxley & back.
